Associate Professor at the Department of Design of Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches and has taught Industrial Design, Elementi visivi per il Progetto and Colore at the School of Design.

He is currently scientific Director of the Color Lab of the Department of Design, promoter and co-founder of the Interdepartmental Laboratory of Politecnico di Milano EDME (Environmental Design and Multisensory Experience). In 2013 he was co-founder of the MDA Association (Mediterranean Design Association) that deals with topics related to Environmental design.

He is author of numerous national and international scientific publications related to design culture.

He is and has been a member of scientific and editorial boards of scientific journals.

He collaborates with several manufacturing companies and public institutions on research topics related to color and Environmental Design.
