Associate Professor
PhD in Interior Architecture and Exhibition Design, with a Master’s Degree in Interior Design. She is a professor in the Interior and Spatial Design program at the School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, and since 2022 she has been the scientific secretary of the same program.
Since 2010, she has conducted research on the history of design, interiors, and exhibition design, collaborating with major Italian and international design archives. She is the managing editor and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal PAD Journal. Pages on Arts and Design, and from 2019 to 2021, she was the managing editor of the scientific journal on the history of design AIS/Design Journal. Storie e Ricerche. Since 2022, he has been a member of the board of directors of AIS/Design (Italian Association of Design Historians).
She has collaborated on various research projects at the Department of Design, Politecnico di Milano, including Exhibit Design History and Methodologies; MADEC. Material Design Research Center; Design 4 Enterprises; DESY. Designing Enhancement Strategies and Exhibit Systems for the Italian House Museums and Studios, among others.
She is the author of several publications, mainly on topics related to the history of design and contemporary interior design (e.g., The Smart Home. An Exploration of How Media Technologies Have Influenced Interior Design Visions from the Last Century to Today, published by FrancoAngeli, 2020), collaborating with leading journals and publishers in the field, and is a member of several scientific committees for national and international editorial series.
