Crippa Davide

Researcher

Graduated in 2002, he earned a PhD in Architecture and Interior Design in 2007; since then, he has been teaching at Politecnico di Milano and at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan.

He was head of the ADI design commission until 2012 and a tenure-track researcher (RTDb) at Università IUAV di Venezia. He writes articles and publishes books on design theory and criticism, always focusing his attention on evolving scenarios.

Since 2022, he has also been the Director of the Master’s Program in Innovation Design and Management at Università IUAV di Venezia.

In 2004, together with Barbara Di Prete, he founded the Ghigos studio, through which he has developed both theoretical research and award-winning projects in international competitions. His current work explores the potential of interaction design and new digital fabrication technologies with a focus on circular economy.

Research projects
