Demanio Marittimo. KM-278: ABITARE/DISABITARE

Demanio Marittimo. KM-278 is an arts, architecture and design marathon with an Adriatic focus. This 15th edition of the festival explores the relationship between new ways of inhabiting spaces and the processes of uninhabiting them. This issue, with its extended, multidisciplinary approach, encompasses philosophical, spiritual, and material aspects related to lifestyle, metamorphosis, community development, contemporary design, and artistic and cultural production.

Annalisa Dominoni will participate in the Abitare il Cielo (Living in the Sky) talk, organised under the patronage of the European Space Agency (ESA) and dedicated to extraterrestrial habitability. This talk will explore the highly topical frontier of inhabiting other planets, combining scientific content with popularisation and first-hand accounts from key figures in the aerospace industry. Alongside Professor Dominoni, the speakers will include Paolo Conte, a journalist and populariser who presents Radio 3 Science; Paolo Ferri, an astrophysicist who has led various space missions, including the Rosetta operation; and Luca Parmitano, one of Italy's most famous astronauts, who will speak live from the Houston space centre.
