Design International Series online lectures

Silvia Piardi, direction of the series and Honorary Professor at Politecnico di Milano, and Yingchun Zang, member of the Scientific Board, are launching today a series of lectures on the theme of AI and Design, as part of the Design International editorial series, published by FrancoAngeli.
The lectures, featuring several authors from the Department of Design, are organized in collaboration with the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University.
Lecture Schedule:
8 May – How is Design approaching the transition toward more uncertain futures?
Speakers: Stefana Broadbent and Silvia Ferraris
16 May – What are the design implications of embedding intelligence into everyday objects?
Speakers: Mauro Ceconello, Davide Spallazzo, and Martina Sciannamé
22 May – What is the role of Generative AI in the Design process?
Speakers: Lucia Rampino and Fabio Figoli
29 May – How can Design help in reshaping more sustainable and ethical food systems?
Speaker: Davide Fassi
