Book presentation: “C’erano una volta dieci c’era una volta" by Rossella Arinisi

Gianfranco Ferré Research Centre

November 27, 2025, from 4:45 pm to 6:30 pm, Centro di Ricerca Gianfranco Ferré, via Tortona 37, Milan

The Gianfranco Ferré Research Center presents “C’erano una volta dieci c’era una volta” by Rossella Arinisi, a handbook dedicated to creative writing training for primary and middle school students.

The author will be joined in conversation by Elena Caratti, Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Communication Design degree program at the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano.

In 2025, Rossella Arinisi launched the project “Creative Writing Manuals for Students”, aimed at young people interested in storytelling, as well as families, teachers, and psychologists eager to nurture children’s creativity. The initiative seeks to provide practical editorial tools to be used both at school and at home, helping to foster new and self-aware storytellers.

With this volume, the author guides readers step by step through the process of building a personal story, starting from the opening lines of classic fairy tales, and includes an editable layout that allows young writers to immediately put their learning into practice.

Through a hands-on, paper-based approach, young authors are encouraged to:

  • develop imagination;
  • stimulate inspiration;
  • organize their ideas;
  • understand the structure of a book;
  • enhance their self-editing skills;
  • gain confidence with the fundamental elements of storytelling.

This event highlights the importance of introducing young people to key narrative techniques, encouraging them to experiment as authors and to appreciate the creative process behind any literary work.

As seating is limited, participants are kindly asked to register only if certain they can attend and to cancel their reservation at least one day before the event in case of unforeseen circumstances, so that waiting list requests may be accommodated.

Registration required on Eventbrite.
